  • Designed, staffed and administered alternative education resource centers.
    • FamilyLink – a learning resource center for home school families,
    • StudentLink – alternative High School program enabling students to earn a high school credit/diploma through interdisciplinary independent study and community service.

Co-director, Teacher, Internet Academy -- Federal Way School District

  • Designed and administered on-line and on-site learning services for home school students and families in the Federal Way School District.
    • Developed curriculum, co-creator and administrator of Internet Academy web site, coordinated class schedules and technical training workshops for students and families.
Curriculum Development

Author, Media Literacy and Media Production Curriculum Adoption

  • Led collaborative effort to define learning standards for media literacy and media production skills for the districts 5th, 8th, and 12th grade students.
    • Aligned with Washington learning requirements for English/Language Arts, Social Studies, Arts, Communication and Technology.
Media Literacy/Film Production

Education Coordinator, “How Do I Look?” Film School & “Shoot Film Not People” Media Production Workshop

  • Provided students hands-on immersion into script development and film production. Coordinated curriculum development, communications and scheduling of film school. Developed media literacy workshops examining teen images in the media.

Producer, “Just Us” & “Terminal 187” Film Projects

  • Film productions involved a unique youth mentoring program that provide teens an opportunity to work with professional filmmakers throughout every phase of production. Managed educational component for student filmmakers. Secured national distribution.
